Billy V was born in Penang, Malaysia but grew up on the sunny beaches of Sydney, Australia.
Mixing a seamless blend of house, chillout, funk, r’n’b and hip hop and keeping the music fresh and dynamic as he takes you on a musical journey.
He has manned the wheels of steel in clubs in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Korea and played alongside DJ greats such as Ralphie Dee, Jonathan Yeo, DJ Norman Jay, Phil K, Bruno Le Petre (cafe del mar) Derrick Carter, Bert Bevans, Kevin Yost, the Dum Dum Project, James Lavelle, Ibiza’s Café Mambo, Johnny Fiasco, Jo Mills, Joe Claussell, Danny Howells, Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, Lisa Loud, Gary Gecko & Feral, Slipmatt, DJ Suv & Tiesto.
Since 2016 Billy has joined fellow Bangkok based DJ's Mikey Mike and Ronny Slama to form the collective PLASTIC DREAMS BKK!
Combined with over 7 years as a DJ on Bangkok's Virgin Radio and a successful career as a television/video producer…All this makes Billy V one of the hardest working men in showbiz…
