Over the past few years, I have compiled all of my tracks to create a comprehensive playlist that is perfect for both listening and dancing and also showcases my journey as a DJ. At the age of 19, I achieved my first major success by winning the Battle of the Mobile DJs competition at Le Club in 1990. This victory opened doors for me as I went on and came 2nd at Club Thriller 1990 and won Club Galaxy 1991, and even represented Cape Town in the prestigious Battle of the DJ Nationals at Club Palladium in Chatsworth Durban. Following these accomplishments, I became the resident DJ at Westridge City and later at Inn on the Plain, where my brother Mark took over from DJ Solly. Additionally, I started playing matinees from 14:00 to 18:00 at Westridge City before it transformed into Touchdown. Eventually, I moved on to Club Manular in Cape Town before transitioning into a function DJ. Today, I continue to mix tracks for the sheer enjoyment and pleasure.
