It must be good, otherwise you wouldn't get such a lovely summer mix. 🫶😃"The Blue Nile" is a great discovery; I hadn't heard it before, and it sounds soooo British 😆 Very nice just like Gabin and Santan to name just a few. You hear a certain kind of perfection in "You Know How to Love Me." You're absolutely right. Not only is Phyllis one of my favorite female voices, but one of my absolute favorite producers is also at play here. I'm a huge fan of James Mtume. The productions between 1978 and 1984 are of an extremely high standard. Of course, that's also due to the first-class musicians he always had with him, like Howard King, Hubert Eaves, Edward Moore, and Reggie Lucas. And thank you for closing with The O'Jays. I haven't heard them in ages. We both love Philly soul. 🥰
