Beatprox, born Viktor Blanár is a young DJ from eastern Slovakia.
He started working with music at the age of fourteen, going through techno, trance, progressive, but his favourite is drum and bass. 2009 was the year when he wanted to try it on the other side of gramophones.
Beatprox started to learn different mixing techniques as well as basics of producing music. A few sets popped up on Soundcloud shortly. He was mixing music only at home until 2011. In 2011, Beatprox got a chance to show his DJ skills at one of the biggest electronic music festival in eastern Slovakia (Free Summer). A month after that he becomes a member of Slovak drum and bass/dubstep label called Darktide Recordings.
His favourite drum and bass subgenres are dancefloor and neurofunk, but also likes deep and dubstep. Beatprox prefers a light melody, vocals and a dirty beat.
He was influenced by Andy C, Receptor, Black Sun Empire, Camo & Krooked, Xilent, Sub Focus, Spor, State Of Mind..
