The 18th edition got some weird and wonderful stuff going on. My personal highlight is Matthewdavid's remix of Belgian producer Dynooo's Adidas Kunttt track from De Vlindermes strange lo-fi album available for free (find it if u wanna). Again, we have some nice compilations, also free, Mad Hop Vol. 5 "Mad Love" and Pothole Music's Robot Soup. From new realeases, there's Karriem Riggins' Alone Together on Stones Throw & (out today!) Debruit's From the Horizon Remixed. One of my favourite LA beatmaker Dibiase is here 2, my dearest jazz trumphet player Erik Truffaz (almost forgot about him), Australian Dizz1 who had this awesome release in 2009 "3rd Time Lucky", probably the best DJ, such a nice person & friend Kutmah, etc.. Oh and seems like there're more remixes, Robert Glasper's Black Radio remixed, & Bruce Haack Remixes LP on Stones Throw again. Btw. Bruce Haack explored the idea that humans & electronic machines share a reciprocal relationship that manifests itself through sounds.
