beautiful journey, smooth, precise, purposeful as always Lost desert was simply stunning, last 30 minutes as you land the space ship was the highlight for me, melodic driven at times, building up to an end well executed, completing the trip, thank you sir for a another memorable session

Hi Basil, I am late to this one as I have been only able to fleet in and out of mixcloud every few days now with work and was away on holidays before that. Glad I got a chance to catch up on this one. Its a real gem! I think you summed up the atmosphere perfectly when you said "dreamy in places... hypnotic in others... hints of melancholy"...exactly the style of mix I enjoy mate! Loved it, thanks for sharing and apologies it took me so long to get around to it!

top tunes for me in this gotta be Coeleste with the eiree tribal vibe going on and the more minimal Monkey Mind, what an infectious groove right there with that dubby voice and heavy sounds that carry it along so nicely. wicked stuff.

Excellent set fella. Your languid, horizontal grooves are just what i needed this PM. Great depth and melancholic in places, but i'm always left with a sense of optimism after listening. Loved the warmth of the bass and atmospherics on Alberto Jossue's 'Home'. Cheers mate.

Great set mate. Had this on blast in the car for a long drive this morning and the shades were out, sun shining and it felt like summer was here at last 😁. Some lovely tunes in here that all complimented each other perfectly. Beautifully done. Nice one Basil 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi Basil, I've had this on rotation a couple of times today and I have to say it's really sunk in, a sumptuous, flowing selection of really deep, moody gear. I'm not as good at getting around the vast array of sets here on mixcloud as I should be, and I tend to focus probably more on creating than consuming but you need to do that latter to be any good at the former and I always find something to educate me when I listen to your sets. So many lovely tracks here but the one that really stuck with me was probably the Bookwood remix of Lion's Mane by Madloch & Subnode, majestic. Thanks for posting mate.
Definitely a bit moodier than you are used to I think Dave lol. I know what you mean about time spent listening...it's not easy, especially if like me, you like to listen to the whole session.
