This started by considering updating a piece from late 1986 (which I will probably still do), but as often occurs I got ensnared by playing in the tuning from the '86 piece. I had seen Sonic Youth in October, and had an "aha" moment when I saw Lee tuning his guitar. I went home and began experimenting with unison strings, and recorded a couple of pieces I still like. Retroreflectorization is a word from my work, but also implies a different meaning when used internally. Memory is retroreflectorization. The content is in the comments.
