Originally from New York City, as a young man, Barrett Leo created and produced remixes for House Music luminaries Jonathan Peters (of the legendary Sound Factory) and DJ Renegade (Tunnel). His remixes were heard in these House Music meccas throughout the late 1990's. A clasically trained musician with a degree from Manhattan School of Music (his alter ego is actually that of a singer/songwriter), Barrett's music education, his natural talent, and his gift of having been born with "perfect pitch" allows him to mix completely "harmonically", creating segues between songs that gel perfectly (without the need for key recognition software). Although he is versatile stylistically, Deep and Progressive House are his passion.
