Sipho Kolberg is a DJ/Producer known as Banger. Banger was born in Johannesburg, Gauteng, raised in Kimberly, Northern Cape. Banger fell in love with music at the age of six (6) when his grandmother brought him a mini keyboard. In 2013, Banger joined Tribal Culture to kick start his music career and since then he has never looked back. Pursuing his dream, Banger has been touring the Northern Cape and surrounding areas playing his music with a passion. After touring the Northern Cape and surrounding areas, Banger moved to Johannesburg to study Dj 101 and Digital Music Composition & Production under Soul Candi Institute of Music in order to improve his knowledge about equipment and music software. After Banger completed his studies, he joined Mix93.8FM in 2017 and is currently working as the station producer and a resident DJ on the Breakfast Crunch With Thabo Magubane. Banger was also a resident DJ at UJFM on the Urban Brunch every last Friday of the month.
