Ok, thanks for the replies, always interesting to know what equipment is used for sound fx .. seems I can't reply to your reply so will just post another comment. I am based in Surrey, close to Sunningdale/Egham. I see your based in Southampton - not too far away. Also are you using a pre for this mix? It sounds like your doing it one deck style with a pre cos there's a bit of a gap between each track. Also your mate Revs needs to hook me up with a custom built NJD, sounds a lot more interesting than my one ;)

Cool. Just a deck and DJ mixer on this one...no pre. I'd like to record through a pre but mine is old and needs a service! ...Rev's currently building his own but not finished yet. I build sirens too and hope to release a NJD style unit with a twist next year :)

Spud Roots

And what delay do you use? I just bought a boss re-20 pedal so sound fx should sound a lot better in my mixes from now on :)

It's a Wampler delay on the FX and Space Echo on the deck. Yeah it's a great pedal man...amazing sound, look forward to hearing it in your mixes. Where are you based?

Spud Roots

Nice selection! Love the fx, are you using a NJD style 70s fixed tone dub siren??

Cheers Spud! Seems we have similar taste in music :)

Yeah the FX here are done via Rev's custom siren box, there's 3 different NJDs and a 555.
