BLKKOUT is a French DJs/Producers duo born in France to African immigrants raised in the hood of Paris' suburbs. Their background has given them a unique perspective of the city due to the diversity of the people they have mixed with and has proved to be a big inspiration.
Their sound definitely reflects the cosmopolitan feel of the city, particularly the strong influences from their African roots and the vibes they have grown up with in the hood. They bring together a combination of different music genres such as hip-hop, electronic, African, Caribbean and then they add their own individual style.
