What is Awooga?

A club night for DJ's to play what they want to play. That simple. For one night, they don't take requests, they don't have a manager telling them what to do or play. Only encouragement to 'get loose' and load the tunes that when they drop, the crowd go fucking wild.
Shazam is used far too much. It won't work. The bass is too heavy.

Call it specialist, call it niche, call it underground - whatever the label, we play it. We gorge at the carcass that is good music.

Decent venues, soundsystems and headliners are our thing - we hope they are yours too.
