APRIL is a voluntary organisation - a UK charity founded in 1998 by Millie Kieve following the death of daughter Karen at the age of 30 due to intolerance of medicines and anaesthetics.
Three conferences and published articles by Millie. Campaigns for patients to be able to report Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) using the UK's Yellow Card system succeeded but is seldom known about. Improvements in Medical education is still being hoped for.
