The Autism Team is the result of a workshop partnership with Specialist Autism Services (SAS): Social Enterprise that provides a wide range of workshops for autistic adults to develop their social skills at their centres in Bradford, Leeds and Calderdale and BCB Radio.

The group started in early 2023, and has grown to become one of the most popular workshops within SAS Bradford. The group is entirely member-led: members decide the topics for each show; research any discussion points; download music; and script the show, before recording at BCB and editing. Shows have included such topics as - Bradford: A Social History, Autism represented in TV & Film, Bradford: A Tourist Guide, Stories and Histories from Yorkshire's Coast

Our group continues to grow in number and ambition and we look forward to sharing more and more content with our listeners.

The show is produced every 4 weeks, and goes out on Bradford Community Broadcast (BCB) Wednesday evening at 6:00pm and archived here
