Audiophile with a lifelong love of music and studies toward a music education degree way back when (I didn't finish the degree and moved on to other careers). My parents were both musically trained and exposed us kids early on to many styles of music. Music is my lifelong companion, my hobby. It's (almost) better than sex, chocolate or a starry night sky. I steer away from today's overproduced, mass-appeal styles. I look constantly for new sounds, new artists and musicmakers with command of their art form as well as something to say without clichés. I tend to like non-vocal music a bit more for that reason. Music must be INTERESTING to appeal to me. Period. No pablum.
