Ashleigh's music career started with childhood piano lessons and progressed to her real passion - drums. She played in cover bands in her early 20s, being included in sold-out productions such as The Eric Clapton Tribute Show. Drumming was a natural springboard to the beat- mixing world of a DJ, while her dance background makes her a multifaceted performer in the entertainment industry.
Ashtag mixes a wide variety of genres such as house, commercial, and Amapiano to name a few, being extremely versatile when catering to the diverse music tastes of any
crowd.
She's been featured on radio stations such as Good Hope and Mutha FM, and DJs for different events and venues around Cape Town. Her recent traveling gigs include Sun City, Zimbabwe, Seychelles, India, Botswana and Mozambique.
