Arcticgrooves emphasizes on sharing and exchanging deep music. Its based on the promotion of fine music with no commercial interest whatsoever. It all began in 2003 when Jose Dieguez got his nickname “Polarbear” from a close friend, and soon saw himself naming music compilations he put together under the word “Arcticgrooves”. Thanks to the positive feedback received throughout the years, a thought of initiating this music-based project became a purpose. Since 2005, Arcticgrooves has been reuniting new conditions and ideas to share music. That’s when Jose Dominguez and Luijo join the project and complement Polarbear’s vision, and focus on to less commercial forms of electronic music styles, primarily house and techno subgenres, now including mixes to the repertoire. The link between nature’s beauty and deep music is the essential stimulus of our mixes and compilations.
