Aquilae's love for Classical and Jazz music prompted him to start composing music in High School, and eventually led him to The University of Northern Colorado where he received his Bachelors degree in Music Performance in May, 2010.

Aquilae has always had a love for Electonic Dance Music. Originally inspired by artists such as DJ Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, ATB, and Paul Oakenfold to name a few, Aquilae knew right away that EDM would always hold its place in his life.

Aquilae is now a resident DJ on the Fundamental Frequencies team, based out of Denver, CO. You can catch him playing at the famous Beta Night club, Church nightclub, and Vinyl Nightclub in Denver.
