Aquedeux (pronounced a-qua-dew) is Robyn de Jager, a psytrance producer born and currently residing in South Africa. She discovered electronic music and, more particularly, psytrance quite late in life – in 2009, her last year at university. She immediately fell in love with this strange (to her at that stage) music. In 2011 she discovered that she could make this music with a computer, all on her own, and her destiny was decided. In 2012 she spent the year in Cape Town learning how to make psytrance under the masterful tutorship of Xatrik and since then has only gone from strength to strength as a producer. With several tracks released on Phonix records and an EP released this year, this artist’s exciting journey into the realm of sonic sorcery has only just begun and she hopes to continue to entrance and ensnare your minds & hearts with her music for a long time to come.
