I became interested in dance music in 1989 when I heard an album called "The best of the DJ Fast Eddie". In 1990 I was sucked into underground club culture, with my favourite DJs being Sasha and Grooverider. There were some truly amazing club nights being held by local DJs in my home town of Hull. The Welly Club and Romeo's & Juliet's being my favourites and then, later, The Room. Seeing the dawn of this new culture and how it split into many different genres over the 1990s has left me with eclectic tastes. Currently, I listen to organic house, progressive house and melodic techno, and that is what I choose to mix. There are so many truly magnificent producers in those genres.
