Back in '99, I started recording original songs on my cheap boombox to process confusion, anger and love as a young adult. In 2007, I started sharing my lil' tunes on SoundCloud under the name DCBA ABCD, which was a play off my initials. In the summer of 2019, I released my first EP, Keep You Safe, to major platforms as Aniela.
My musical style combines complex, experimental layering with pop melodies and I like to call it electrofunkypop. I haven't mustered up the courage to perform live - maybe one day. These days I'm finding joy in collaborating with multi-talented artists that I admire āØ
