I grew up in the London Borough of Newham Custom House E16 in the 22 story Tower blocks that's doted around freemasons Road from the 70s , from these blocks you heard many genres of music from pop music etc in different generations especially family parties. Reggae was of interest to me in the around 1977/78 at the same time there was many blues parties it was a case of take your pick, it was also aided by my great friend who was my next door neighbour at the time, must say his parties was the best. The music i play today just reminds me of my youth and the music that was around at that time from dancehall to lovers rock, all for the sum of £5 at the door come early stay late old is gold memories are forever andy k.
