Andrew Villegas (AndyVica) was born in Los Angeles, CA, but raised in Manizales, Colombia. Since 2000, Andrew has resided in NYC.
Music has always been Andrew's first love. However, his real evolution as a recognized DJ started back in the early 90's with his college days in Colombia. It was then that he began organizing parties at various venues in the capital, some of which he hosted at the famous 'Galpon' theater. In, 2000 he graduated from college with a degree in Visual Design. It was only 3 weeks later that he was on a plane to New York - anxious, but ready to bring his mixing skills to this magnificent city.
He was soon involved in the NYC house scene, and has not looked back, not only playing his music at various bars and private events, but also clubbing himself, and checking out the biggest DJs that NYC hosts regularly.
