Ambassador Sound

Toronto, Canada

Ambassador Sound has been entertaining the Toronto area partiers since 1998. Specializing in Reggae/Dancehall but versatile enough to play any music genre well. Cherokee, the owner started collecting records, gaining musical knowledge and playing school dances in Scarborough and Toronto at the age of 16. Further honed his skills with Co-Owner Bandit on a sound they built in Ottawa called One Blood at age 19. Upon returning to the Toronto are 2 years later Bandit linked Cherokee with a Jane/FInch sound called King Emperor and they both played on the sound for the next 3 years. At this point Cherokee decided to start a sound on his own, and Ambassador Sound was born. After about 10 years of mashing up dance and parties, Cherokee started to withdraw from the scene a bit, but in recent years has reemerged w Bandit to take the city by storm. Adding Dubplates to the repertoire has made Ambassador a clash threat, while still being a top jugglin sound.
