Not so much a tribute as a thought experiment.
As with http://i.mixcloud.com/CHpDL and http://i.mixcloud.com/CRzHK , this was inspired by a random scenario: what if I was to play alongside fellow 'Caster the talented http://www.mixcloud.com/sukakofi/ ?
The challenge was not to play in his style, so much as adapt my rough & ready technique in a way that would at least be complimentary yet distinctive, rather than sounding like a cheap knock-off or jarring & disjointed.
Hope I got it right.....................
Tracklist
Playing tracks by Agev Munsen , Kerri chandler, Cassy Britton, Dizzee Rascal & Armand Van Helden, Louis La Roche and more.

she's the one they call big kofi.
WoW. Great one
Trak - Anyway (Club Mix) Yeah that is definitely an Alph song and not a Suka song! Well the whole mix is Alph, your style is just much rawer than the (great) smooth as silk grooves of Suka. You might blow him out of the building with this :P
Flawless GREAT SONG!!
Thats some heavy tracks coming out of your case!
Cheers, 'S4v for the feedback on this. it was a bit intense getting it together, but I did enjoy it. In fairness, Suka is a genre specialist, so his interpreation will by definition, differ to mine. As I'm more of a gerneralist by comparision (a blessing & a curse), any attempt to make a straight tech-house mix would've been pointless. This mix then, was more an exercise in lateral thinking. Sort of.
oh yeah!! sounds really good!! :) where do you spin? you have clubnites? U in Facebook?:)
i can do it.. oh yea.. can do it anyway you want it!! wohoo!! nice!
i gotta say.. its wonderful!! love the fact you took the time to name it and describe it the way you did.. gonna favorite this one for sure..
