In the 80's I started mixing and making mixes on a tapedeck for the first time. In this period samplers were not available yet or only for the happy few who could afford it. The mixes you hear are therefore handcrafts. Many hours in our home-studios resulted in the notorious Alor Star Mixes. During the years also other people started making mixes for Alor Star such as Speedy J (yes the Dutch techno-icon), Hans Vogel and the very talented John Matze. please enjoy listening to 80's early dance, pop, electro, hip-hop, italo and all other styles
