Alma do sol is a musical project created by Taras Kuznetsov in the Hero-City Odessa that’s in Ukraine. From the beginning the band was gathered to create bright and positive mood on the electroswing parties. And when the manouche guitar came into play it was already understood that our concerts and recordings will be mixed with this “French Jazz” style.
Today the performances of Alma Do Sol present bright shows and a lot of Lindy-Hop, Charleston and other Swing dancing styles.
Like once said Bing Crosby: “Yesterday they called it ragtime, today they call it swing... White folks, your all show’s a mess!” We would continue it with the words “Tomorrow we call it “ElectroSwing”!”
