Music to me is like a small escape, every day, from a sometimes harsh world. When night falls, after a busy day, on the couch. During the daily train ride to work, with good headphones, I spend an hour looking for seclusion while the landscape races by. The more restless the environment, the more I can enjoy a dash of intimate music.
Try it for yourself, find a bench in the busiest spot in the city centre and play a listening session "All Things Eclectic". I can enjoy this music so much when the rest of society is in such a hurry. Then I like to get carried away by warm bass sounds, bubbling percussion, playful horns...
For the selection of songs I don't impose any rules, a listening session is usually created by association. Gifted by the feeling of the moment. On winter days there will be more melancholy, in spring it will be a bit more playful. I guess. We all have our own rhythm of life.
