Uuuuuuuuuup north of America – Born and raised;
In the basement is where I spent most of my days;
“Rollin’ out”, maxin’ hero stats of some fool;
And playin’ some v-ball inside of a school;
When a couple of “friends”, who were really no good;
Started pressin’ me to act out all hood;
Got in too many fights then I got scared;
All these gangs poppin’ up and they don’t fight fair!;
Had to flip my script, man, that much was clear;
Listened to the beats that were ringin’ in my ear;
If anything, I was trying to avoid the grave;
And I yelled, while on stage, “I love techno rave!”
I’ve… Got… The bestest crew, not many people really do;
But now they live so far, like from here to Timbuktu;
I’m savin’ up my dough, as much as I can;
And when I have enough, I’ll go back to Japan :)
