My name is Alex, I’m 44 and from Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona, Spain). Music has been with me since childhood, but electronic dance music awakened something deep and spiritual that never faded. I started DJing at 15, playing in local venues from the late 1990s, especially Bar Bali on Sitges’ famous Calle del Pecado, then known as a “mini Ibiza,” home to clubs like La Atlántida and Pacha-Sitges. I also performed at Otto Zutz, a key nightlife spot of that era.

In the early 2000s, I began creating my own music, though sharing it was harder without digital platforms. Meanwhile, I studied History, Education and Pedagogy, leading to nearly 20 years in the educational field. Still, music never left my life.

After reflecting on my journey, I realized music has supported me in every moment. That’s why I’m returning to DJing and music production, sharing mixes that express who I am. My artistic name, b-rūḥā, means “in spirit”—the unseen source where my inspiration begins.
