Hi, I'm Al Smart and I produce and present Easy Sunday from my home studio in Leicestershire.

I retired fully in 2017, having worked mostly for B.T. (British Telecom) as an engineer and manager up to 2002. From then it was a complete change of direction into road safety education and enforcement. I can honestly say I have attended several hundred speed awareness workshops .

I've always had a love of radio ever since I heard the pirate stations in the 1960s. I started with a hospital station in 2007 and have been recording shows from my home ever since. I like most types of music but would struggle to identify one particular genre, however, I do like female artists the most.
