From their late teens, while growing up in Chicago’s loft and underground scene, Lázaro’s sound draws inspiration from the stripped-back grooves of Midwest Rave. With experience gained working at smartbar, they contributed to running Support System (2017–2019) and various underground events. Having received mentorship from key figures in American, British, and French electronic music under the guise of Aguila, they have recorded and released tracks under There Is Love In You, all my thoughts, Duality Trax, 20:20 Vision and Noire & Blanche. Currently hosting Dress 2 Sweat.FM on Beloved Radio and mentored by Chez Damier, Lázaro continues to carry the torch for Midwestern Dance Music.
