Africa Creates is an online radio show that provides a platform for African writers, musicians, filmmakers and other artists to be heard and promoted both locally and internationally.
The 20-minute show highlights and interviews one artist or group. It is then aired on Artist First Radio Network (an online radio station based in the USA with an international audience) and Bottomline Kenya (a Kenyan entertainment blog that reviews music, television, film and other sources of entertainment).
In addition to discussing the artists and their work, the show often reflects on the social context in which the artists create, touching on the issues and circumstances that influence and inspire them.
