In 1998 Leke Adesoye the founder of Aerosoul Limited started designing street-wear from his north London home. A talented free-hand illustrator, Leke was part of a new school of designers who cast a different vision over the concept of logo-based street-wear. It was at the London College of Fashion where he homed his skills as a graphic artist and discovered an interest in screen-printing. After graduating Leke began selling his designs, initially to friends and associates in and around the drum 'n' bass and hip hop scene. His early creations went down a storm among the underground club scene. a some-time DJ and connoisseur of good music Leke's progression into T-shirt design aimed primarily at this market was tailored for him, a natural marriage of his 2 passions – music & clothing. However the Aerosoul brand established a wider clientele.
