'Adam M' – Contemporary Soulful & uplifting House Music.
I would at most describe myself as an ‘appreciator’, having being interested in electronic dance music since I was circa 10 or 11 years old - when an old school friend received a copy of Morgan Khans’ Street Sound Electro 5 for his birthday; and we proceeded to absolutely rinse-it!!!
Following-on from the Street Sounds series, it wasn’t long before I was introduced to a 'House Sound of Chicago' compilation. Again spellbound, only this time it was to the sounds of such ground-breaking US House Music artists as Mr Fingers, Marshall Jefferson and Steve 'Silk' Hurley, all in their production infancy.
Over the years, I've had my periods of falling-in and out of favour with House Music, nonetheless, as far as I can recall I've thoroughly enjoyed sourcing and listening to great tracks in the genre and sharing this enjoyment with friends.
And so any selected tracks are a compilation and flection of my own appreciator’s journey.
