For nearly 20 years About Funk has been doing what he likes best: playing House music in all its forms and facets. But, as his DJ name suggests, preferably with a funky touch.
Influenced by his House Heroes: Kenny Dope, Louie Vega, Kid Crème, Junior Jack, Paul Woolford, Purple Disco Machine, Mark Knight, Cleptomaniacs, Low Steppa, MJ Cole, Sebb Junior, Scott Diaz, David Penn and many more...

At the start he mainly made mixtapes in his bedroom. He gradually got the chance to play in local cafés and at local parties and festivals.

To this day, music, and especially house music, remains his greatest passion. If there is some free time, he enjoys playing House music. And sometimes he tries to make some music himself. This resulted in a release on GrooveTraxx and future releases on Hive Label & Moiss Music.
