A Vibe Called Quest was set up with a simple set of ambitions: to entertain and educate the masses through the medium of hip-hop. Unfortunately, the masses aren't that easily reachable so the VCQ crew got a slot on Quest instead. Expect a showcase of the genre's finest assets, its hidden gems and above all its ability to transcend preconception. The show is designed to highlight hip-hop's earliest influences to its latest exports – they aren't going to be dealing with guns, bitches and bling 24/7, they promise.
