Apollo (formerly Kalibo) is a multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Vancouver, Canada. Influenced by r&b, house, 70s and 80s funk music - he cultivated his tastes and sound through his local electronic music scene, slowly turning his focus towards his own unique inspirations.

Since then, Apollo has developed a live solo show opening for the likes of Hot Chip, Fred Falke, FKJ, Chromeo and Darius. His sound has a deeply tropical vibe with a retro grittiness and euphoric atmosphere, perfect for driving down an oceanside highway as the sun sets over the horizon. Apollo conjures twilight vibes and blissful scenery. The Vancouver native’s uplifting house flows like a tropical wave, as sensual vocal samples and filtered pads ebb with the tide.
