Welcome to the ANTI-ADDICTION-ARMY SPONSORED MARCH FROM SOUTHAMPTON TO GLASGOW 2017 Group page....The AAA is a voluntary organisation made up of recovering addicts, activists and supporters with a dual manifesto, firstly to raise much needed funds for addiction treatment charities and secondly to campaign in political, social and educational arenas for greater awareness and understanding of the huge drug addiction epedemic consuming contemporary Britain. With the current political climate dictating the reduction of funding across key areas of addiction treatment, this causing closure of many treatment centres and programmes, it is clear that as a nation we are facing a crisis which can only escalate in forthcoming years given the scale of addiction levels in the U.K.
Our first major charity project is a sponsored walk from Southampton to Scotland commencing on August 15th 2017. We currently have a team of nine members in training for this march.
