Pioneers of 90’s Shoreditch, Tate 'n' Fuel (NAPP) hosted the first of many legendary house parties in ’92, while continuing to play out at MoS, Whoop It Up, Sassy (London), Follie Pigale (Paris), Block 8 & Secret Box (Gothenburg), New Orleans, Cannes, L.A. to name a few.
Signed to Strongroom Records in ’93 NAPP released The Howler and Piano Concerto No.1, with immediate impact on the Mixmag and DJ Mag charts and clubland faves at Ministry of Sound, including mixes by Brandon Block on Up Yer Ronson compilations.
NAPP have since maintained their unique sound with a mix of digital and analogue technology plus a burning desire and philosophy to make it unrelentingly tough and funky.
NAPP are soon to release EPs and singles Stonefish, Crazy Thing, Hooch and Blowspotta on A11 Records.
In 2024 NAPP have played out at Secret Box and Block 8 (Gothenburg) and THUNK on Sundays at Strongroom and can be found delivering virtuoso mixes of their signature sound on THUNK Radio (THUNK.world)
