Started my life up country.
Been in Kihei for a while now.
Born and raised on Maui.
No discrimination.
(but most have it against me)
I take photographs, and get paid for them, therefore I am technically a self-made artist.
I do not work for other people (but WITH them), and all these years of being ridiculed for being "lazy, stubborn, and unable to see my place as a woman in the kitchen, kissing ass to a boss" - HAS PAID OFF! I
I did what even my closest friends said I NEVER COULD.
(and I'm just getting started)
I believe race-
is a way to trace your history,
preserve your culture,
and let your language live on-
But the world is small.
I do not believe we should be divided by gender, age, race, or otherwise.
I stand for peace, but I'm only human.
I cannot be expected to keep a smile on my face 24/7 when there is so much corruption in this world
