Lorenzo Perera aka Levi / 7Locks comes from a musical family in Italy, where he grew up listening to the most diverse influences.
Since embracing the Rastafarian faith at a young age he started to investigate deeply into reggae music, from the african/jamaican foundations up to modern dubwise.
He’s been playing as a selector alongside the likes of Joey Jay, Aba Shanti, Rim Bim (H.I.M. Sound), Jah Yimassagan, Daddy Ants (Youthman Promotion) and more; over the last few years he’s been managing the reggae department at Flashback Records, one of London’s leading record shops.
He has collaborated with Jah Fingers Muzik label and launched a fresh project called “Salvation Rock Records” in 2019, a label focused on reissuing hard-to-find american gospel music.
