5AM is the DJ/production project of sleepless sonic stargazer Sam Andrus. Always an explorer of the unknown, Sam would listen to beats, trap, and future bass while working late on art school assignments, and when he heard the potential for an infinite creative dimensions in the music itself he slowly went from being a painter of light to a painter of sound, with an ear for bass, broken beats, and sounds that are psychedelic but musical. 5AM's intention when he takes the stage is to help free minds and bodies from the daily grind and take them deep into to that other dimension of inspiration and perspiration. He leaves no stone unturned searching for and producing the phattest beats with the highest caliber of creativity, production quality, and dancefloor-smashability. When he catches a glimpse of a new sound he follows it down the rabbit hole, and is unselfish with his discoveries.
