Predominantly showcasing my favourite techno tracks, I also enjoy sharing sets based on other genres I consider influential to contemporary elctronic music.
Conceptually, my set-style is mainly influenced by Liam Howlett and Andy Smith: Their seminal Essential Mix Sets go beyond mixing tracks of certain genre in a musically aesthetic way, but rather have an artistic message to themselves. Not restricted slave-like to a genre or time, their sets seem to tell a story. Whether that is by pointing out a relation between different songs or citing a sample-source by playing the original funk song. Yet they manage not to become eclectic or pivot to cheap showmanship. Leaving the assessment to you, on how well I am doing there, I hope that you enjoy some of the sets and hopefully discover some new great tracks.
