Miguel V and Marc Cognito made their debut in the Philadelphia music scene in 2011 under the name Version 2.0. Shortly after collaborating, the duo's talent was recognized across the city, and they were booked for such major parties as "Picnic for Degenerates" and "Sundae."

As their following grew, the duo was involved in hosting multiple parties across the city including "Friday Night Vibe" in the Uforia Room of Philadelphia's Zee Bar and "aPHILLYation" at popular night club, Rumor. Then in 2014, they joined forces with DJ and production duo, Maggs Bruchez to host the outdoor party, #SoulnSol. The #SoulnSol crew continues to provide the city with soulful, open air vibes during the warmer months of the year.

In 2017, Cognito and Miguel rebranded under the name 4manos. Their unique sound blends house and techno with influences across multiple genres, including funk, hip-hop, R&B, Latin, & Afro.
