4040 (Chavdar Petkov) is a Bulgarian guitar player, singer and producer, born on September 3, 1974 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has a Master’s degree in Theology and completed an online Master degree program using Pro Tools in Berklee College of music.
4040’s musical style is rock and his songs are structured around melodious vocal lines as well as guitar riffs and solos. He performs his songs in English in order to reach a broader audience of rock music fans worldwide.
In 2012, 4040 and his friend and business partner Ivan Kirov founded the music production and sound recording studio Perfect Records www.perfectrecords.bg, where 4040 recorded, mixed and mastered his album “The World Has Changed” – it has 14 rock tracks, including 12 songs and 2 instrumentals.
