On this installment of Third Place, host David Brown interviews Representative Dalton Honore' to get a report on the status of the current US war on drugs, how it plays out in Louisiana and what he's doing about it at the Louisiana Legislature. Representative Honore, D-Baton Rouge sponsored drug law reform measures in both last session and in this one. Fresh off of a trip to Colorado to examine their pioneering reforms, the former deputy sheriff talks with us about his two bills: a medical marijuana bill (HB 6) and a proposal to tax and regulate marijuana like alcohol (HB 117).
