This week's Third Place is with Dawn Collins, the organizer of Roots Camp Louisiana, occurring March 7-8 in New Orleans at the Ashe Cultural Arts Center. Roots Camp has been a key venue for progressive organizing in Louisiana for a number of years, an 'un-conference' where participants shape the agenda and create panels and workshops on the issues and skills they want to learn. We'll hear about what's scheduled for this year's Roots Camp, the event's process, and how to participate.
