6th Congressional District candidate Rufus Craig, running for the Libertarian Party, joins Third Place for the first of several conversations with 6th District candidates on the ballot on November 4th. Mr. Craig ran previously in 2004 and 2010 and is an attorney in Baton Rouge. We discuss numerous issues from his platform, from 'stereotypical' Libertarian issues like civil liberties, drug legalization, limited government and foreign policy to his take on gerrymandering electoral districts, cutting several cabinet departments including Agriculture and Commerce, Libertarian health care policy and the federal debt and deficit.
