A show about Baton Rouge "boomerangs," young residents who left Baton Rouge after graduating high school or college and then returned to make a difference in our community. Three 30-somethings: Julie Laperouse, Director of Talent Development at the Baton Rouge Area Chamber; Slater McKay, former president of Forum 35; and Walta Yemane, formerly of Baton Rouge Regional Innovation Organization. Our guests share their personal stories and their views on why the brain drain exists, the changes in Baton Rouge, and how boomerangs helped make these changes.
